"In this day and age when issues such as sustainability are a constant consideration the use of boxes seems inappropriate.

Flowers evoke emotions, recipients would surely rather receive a beautiful bouquet than a cardboard box!

Keep customer service and satisfaction alive."

"I had a bad experience with a recent gift. When I took the box inside, opened it up and after grappling with the bouquet for about a minute to get it out without causing too much damage I was left with more buds at the bottom of the box than were left on the stems!!!

I wasn't so unfortunate though, I managed to get a refund but it kind of took the niceness off the gift."

"Keep up the good work Teleflorist – it’s good to see that finally a well known name in the industry is taking a strong stance about this. Boxing should be banned – it’s flowers by numbers."

"I’ve never told her, but the flowers my mum sent me for my birthday were left in a box by the back door. I was out shopping all day and it had rained, the box was soaking when I got home and the flowers looked very sorry indeed. I know the thought was there."

"A great big bunch of flowers being carried through the office always gets people looking, and there’s nothing better than them being handed to you. Smugness guaranteed."
